Volunteer Smithville
The City of Smithville offers several ways for residents to volunteer their time, energy, and talents.
The Smithville Public Library and Friends of the Library often need help with a wide variety of programs from Little Bookworms and the Summer Reading Club to re-shelving and straightening books, or creating library displays. Contact Judy Bergeron for more information: 512 237 3282 x 6.
The Smithville Recreation Center has many opportunities for volunteers, such as referees and coaches during our sports seasons, and event-specific help for Fall Fest and other community activities. Contact Ashley Garrison or Alexis Peck for more information: 512 237 3282 x 7.
If you are interested in participating in the 2024-25 Smithville Comprehensive Planning activities, please contact Jill Strube for more information: 512 237 3282 x 2109.
The City also has a number of Advisory Boards and Committees that help guide City Council and public policy. If you would like to serve on a City of Smithville Board, please fill out the Board Application.
