Highline and Aspen contractors will be working in the area

Dear Residents,

Highline is coming to your community. We are in the process of starting construction in your community; we wanted to reach out to you early in the process to explain what the construction will look like.

What can you expect during this expansion?

• The Highline BOOT II expansion project will provide your community with additional options for home and business fiber-optic communication services.

• One to two weeks prior to any ground construction in your community, Aspen Utility—Highline’s general contractor—will contact Texas 811 to identify gas, power, and communication lines within the utility easements. These easements are typically located in either your backyard or front yard. Texas 811 will dispatch a company to mark the underground utilities by spray-painting the ground. They may need access to your private property to reach the utility easement. Locators will have visible company logos on their trucks and uniforms.

• One to two weeks after the utilities have been marked, employees from Aspen Utility, Highline’s general contractor, will stop by to deliver a door tag three days before construction begins in your yard. This door tag will include important contact information in case you need assistance during the construction process.

• Please allow our construction teams access to your property so they can reach the Public Utility Easement and complete their work.

• Our construction teams will display proper signage and logos identifying them as employees of Aspen Utility, the company performing this important work in your community.

• Highline is committed to meeting our timeline for your community, and we need your cooperation. Please provide locators and Aspen Utility’s construction team access to the utility easement, which may only be reachable through your private property, so they can perform their work.
