Statement from Bastrop County Emergency Management.
We are aware that AT&T wireless is having service issues in parts of Bastrop and Bastrop County. 9-1-1 calls may or may not be working. If your 9-1-1 call does not go through, please try texting 911. You may also be able to connect to your WIFI and call or text 9-1-1 that way. If you cannot get through to 9-1-1 by call or text, please go to a location that has a landline or a cell phone on another carrier or proceed to your nearest fire station for assistance.
The issue has been escalated with AT&T wireless for quick resolution. Let's all be careful out there.
