Public Meeting: USDA Intent to Apply for Loan/Grant Program
Notice of Public Meeting
The City of Smithville intends to file an application with USDA, Rural Development for financial assistance in order to upgrade and improve its water/wastewater system along SH 95 from the High School to Loop 230.
Water improvements will include 12” PVC pipes and fittings and fire hydrants. Wastewater improvements will include 8” PVC pipes to tie into the existing system and manhole covers.
The purpose of this notice is to inform the citizens in the area of the City of Smithville’s intent to seek financial assistance (loan and/or grant) with this project.
A public information meeting on this project will be held on February 12, 2018 at 5:30PM at Smithville City Hall, 317 Main Street.
