NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF SMITHVILLE BUDGET
The City of Smithville will hold a public hearing on its proposed budget for the 2023/2024 fiscal year.
The Public hearing will be held on September 6, 2023 at 5:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 317 Main Street, Smithville, Texas.
"This budget will raise more total property taxes than last year's budget by $274,182 or 12.61%, and of that amount, $117,779 is tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year."
If approved by the City Council following the public hearing, this proposed budget will take effect on October 1, 2023.
