Ameresco Project Update / Smart Meter Installation FAQ’s
The City’s facility lighting retrofit project is 94% complete. The big push this week was the replacement of the Recreation Center gymnasium and PD exterior lighting. Concurrently, installation of street lighting throughout town is 89% complete. Installation of water and electric meters began Monday, January 11, 2016 in Zone 1 (on the “Hill”). The Ameresco installation crew is 95% complete in Zone 1. The Zone 2 opt-out deadline is Friday, January 29th with installation beginning Monday, February 1st.
