Ameresco Project Update #2 / Smart Meter Installation FAQ’s
The City’s facility lighting retrofit project is 99% complete. Installation of street lighting throughout town is 99% complete. Installation of water and electric meters began Monday, January 11, 2016 in Zone 1 (on the “Hill”). The Ameresco installation crew is 99% complete in Zone 1 and Zone 2 with 10% complete in Zone 3. To date, approximately 765 electric and water meters have been replaced. The Zone 4 opt-out deadline is Friday, March 18th with installation beginning Monday, March 21st.
