WEATHER UPDATE / ROAD CONDITIONS - 2/3/22 @ 9:30 AM

 As of 9:30 am, ALL roads into and out of Smithville are passable with no ice accumulation on the 4th Avenue or Colorado River bridge.  However, these conditions are expected to change rapidly as the day progresses and the temperatures continue to drop.  If you don’t absolutely need to travel, please stay off the roads as road conditions will be quickly deteriorating. For the latest on road conditions go to drivetexas.org. Bastrop County has aset up a hotline for you to call at 512-303-4300 for nonemergency information regarding this Winter Weather Event.
