URGENT NOTICE: CITY PHONES AND EMAIL SYSTEM DOWN

A major water leak at the Rec Center has damaged the City of Smithville email and phone system servers. As a result, all email and phone lines are down. This includes the non-emergency number to the Smithville PD. 911 Emergency Calls will be routed to Bastrop County who will dispatch local law enforcement and/or emergency response personnel. We are diligently working to remedy the situation. However, it will be at least 12-24 hours before the systems can be restored. This message will be updated as conditions warrant.
