Loop 230 & Main Street Lane Closure - FRIDAY, OCTOBER 20, 2017
A TXDOT Contractor will be begin cutting the roadway at the intersection of Loop 230 and Main Street as part of the four corner pedestrian signal project. TXDOT will be closing down both westbound lanes of Loop 230 at 8;00 am and will be directing two-way traffic onto the eastbound lanes. The lanes will be re-opened by 12:00 pm at the latest. Work will resume at 9:00 am on Monday. As per TXDOT specifications, lane closures are not allowed past 12:00 pm on Fridays. The work TXDOT will perform tomorrow will be cutting through the asphalt/concrete roadway to run underground conduit for the mast arms and pedestrian signals. A steel plate will be placed over the trench on Loop 230 for the weekend. Please exercise caution when driving in this area.
