FINAL WINTER WEATHER UPDATE - 2/4/22 @ 9:30 AM
As of 9:30 am, ALL roads and bridges into and out of Smithville are passable. However, there is minor sleet/ice accumulation on the shoulders and less-travelled sections of the roadway. So, please be careful when driving. Temperatures are not expected to get above freezing until this afternoon. The "feels like" temperature is 13 degrees. Bundle up if/when going outdoors and please keep all pets indoors.
As a reminder, Garbage Service will start again on Monday, February 7, 2022.
City Offices will reopen at 10:00 am TODAY.
Kudos to the Smithville PD and Utility Crews for responding to citizen's needs the past 24-36 hours.
