Disaster Declaration for Bastrop County
As of 9:00 am, May 24, 2015, Bastrop County Judge Paul Pape has signed a Declaration of Disaster for Bastrop County, and also sent a letter to Governor Greg Abbot requesting a Federal Declaration to authorize individual and public assistance. The Colorado river in Smithville will crest at 13.4 ft tomorrow morning. Be careful at low water crossings. Use common sense.
