Brandon Dunham grew up in Smithville and has always considered it home. After pursuing education and career opportunities outside the area, he returned with a deep commitment to giving back to the community that shaped him. He was elected to the Smithville City Council in 2025 and currently serves in Place 2.
Brandon has over a decade of experience in the marketing and business management industry, where he has worked with organizations ranging from small local businesses to national and international brands. His background includes strategic planning, operations leadership, and community engagement—skills that translate directly to thoughtful, effective public service.
Throughout his career, Brandon has remained involved in civic and economic initiatives that support local communities. As a council member, he is focused on strengthening infrastructure, promoting transparency in budgeting, and ensuring that growth in Smithville aligns with the town’s character and long-term needs.
He is proud to serve his hometown and is dedicated to working collaboratively with residents and fellow council members to help guide Smithville’s future.
