City of Smithville will accept sealed bids to provide all labor, limited materials, services and equipment necessary for, or reasonably incidental to, the Work shown in the Construction Drawings for RFB#26-001 City of Smithville Garwood Park 12.49 kV Power Line Reconductor. The Bid Documents may be obtained free of charge at the City of Smithville’s website, https://tx-smithville.civicplus.com/bids.aspx  and via the CivCast website at https://www.civcastusa.com/project/69a9de0a2b4ada2e36e437ba/summary

A MANDATORY Pre-bid Meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at City of Smithville, 317 Main St., Smithville, TX 78957, to familiarize the Bidders with the goals for this project. Questions may be submitted in writing through the CivCast website until March 27, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.

Bids shall be submitted no later than April 2, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. The city will only accept electronic proposals via the CivCast website. Responses received after the due date and time shall be considered late and will be rejected. Bids will be opened and publicly acknowledged at the same date and time virtually via a Teams meeting (meeting information provided in bid documents).
