As Bastrop County local government officials, we remind our citizens that it is not appropriate and may be misleading to post or repost unproven information about coronavirus (COVID-19) issues or announcements on social media.  Official information will come by and through the Bastrop County Office of Emergency Management as a press release or statement using the OEM social media or other news outlets.  You can trust what comes from our Public Information Officers working together in our Joint Information Center.
