"Smithville Possibilities" Dedication

Sat June 8th 2019 @ 11:00 am

Meet at Independence Park to celebrate the installation of the "Smithville Possibilities" mural at the DAEP (SISD Bus Barn) at the end of Loop 230 where it intersects with SH95.

Help us celebrate the Smithville community! Join us to "unveil" the new mural at the School's Bus Barn/DAEP building on SH95 where Loop 230 dead ends.

Created through a community-driven process with funding from the National Endowment for the Arts, "Smithville Possibilities" depicts the important people, places, and events that make this town such a special place to be. Neighbors and friends from Smithville selected the images and painted them, making an amazing tribute to the people who make Smithville a city of possibilities!

Many thanks to the scores of volunteers who helped make this possible. At the end of the day, this is all about YOU!

Refreshments will be provided at Independence Park.
